The Sailer connection comes to the Walmsley family through my paternal grandmother, Charlotte C. Sailer, born March 23, 1891  She died January 24, 1968.  She married my grandfather, Clifford P. Wamsley, born March 8, 1875.  They were married July 4, 1912 at Savanah, Ga.  She had a sister, Pauline and a brother, George W.  Their parents were George Walter Sailer and Maryetta (Fox) Sailer.  My father, George Philip Walmsley was born April 5, 1915 to Cliff and Charlotte, while his half brother, Roger C. Wamsley was born December 12, 1909 to Cliff and Ester (Tideman) Wamsley (Cliff's former wife).  Their sister, Martha Reed Walmsley was born January 11, 1925.

Some of the Sailer clan taken in 1906. Jacob and Charlotte are in the back by the post and George is to their right. Barb Heath's grandmother (Dorothy Ruth Sailer Smith is the little girl in the front with pigtails and darker hair with the wrap around her shoulders.

Sailer family - George is in the back on the right and Barb Heath's grandma is down in front holding her son Bob on her lap. The mother of Barbara Heath is just a little girl in this picture -down in front with her hands on her knees. This was taken about 1930.
