In The Beginning . . .
   Long, long ago - a very special carpet of what we call time was projected outward, and the void was made visible with, "specialness". And thus the limits of our universe were defined and we called them, time and space. As consciousness ushered into our minds, we inhabitants of the world set forth to explore the vast reaches of time and space, discovering through primitive ~ but insightful means, that heavenly bodies in our cosmos seem to have a relationship to our lives.  After years of empirical study, measurable correlations were found between the positions of certain celestial bodies and their seeming effects on earth. One could say this was the beginnings of an artful science we call ~ astronomy/astrology. Tools to serve mankind in the vastness of the Grand Illusion ~ for time and space end once we cross that threshold into Eternity!

      So vast was this curious universe that measuring could not be accomplished in the usual way ~ in terms of just distance. So vast was this space that the dimension of time had to be used. The unit of "light-years" had to be adopted to explain distance in space. Light, a constant, travels about 186,000 miles per/second, or, put another way ~ 6 trillion miles in one earth year. We have measured most cosmic bodies as being many light-years from us. Thus, the concept of infinity was introduced to the consciousness of man. Enough however, for we will not be concerned with most of those cosmic bodies in this presentation.

      Western astrology is concerned mainly with the effects of relatively closer bodies to us on earth. They are our "own" star ~ the sun, and our earth's satelite ~ the moon, as well as our 8 known planets (beside earth) and certain asteroids, including Chiron - regarded by some as a "small" planet. Then, of course, the placement of these bodies in the Heavens. Certain other influences, such as the moon's nodes, vertex, etc., are also looked at and pondered in hundreds of combinations that are possible to arrive at and examine. To look upon the heavens so distant seemed to dwarf our limited senses even more as we counted on our five human senses to reveal more and more information about our lives.
 

      What does this mean to us? With the combining of the science of astronomy and the art of astrology, it has been possible to produce very comprehensive and insightful gleanings that can define not only the singular meanings of each effect on ones Personal Chart, but more - much more as we put all this together in combination with the rest of our personal chart information for some of the best personal profiling and enlightenment we could ever hope to see ~ and to experience.
 

      Many different reports have become possible to inform us and look into the various areas of our lives. Basic to all of these is a Personal Natal Birth Horoscope Report, that defines and calculates cosmic conditions present at that moment in time and space when we were born. That is, when we drew our first independent breath on this globe we call earth. This information is basic and central to all other reports and calculations that then become possible. It is a peek at our life in a "nutshell," ~ our personality, character & major influences that we encounter, providing a thought-provoking look at conditions that can manifest throughout our life.
 

      What need we know? Our date of birth, our exact time of birth, and where we were born. That's all!
 

      What other reports are possible? Once we have the basic information that could lead to a Personal Natal Birth Horoscope Report we can then look at our relationship with others - providing we have their birth information also. The Relationship Reports will look at the two persons and how they affect one another, along with some very helpful insights into how one might avoid conflicts and capitalize on strong points. This can be oriented either for Friendly Encounters or Loving Encounters. Not a Composite, this process compares each to one another. A Composite chart would combine both persons into one, and that is possible, too!
 

      Rounding out the main body of reports in any astrological library are the Forecast Reports which look into our lives for a given period of time and plot influences that interact with our personal charts. They come in several varieties and can be defined for our purposes as Transit Reports and Secondary Progressed, as well as, Solar Returns and Lunar Returns. The transits take on an almost day by day exploration of what influences our lives; while the progressions and solar and lunar returns take a capsulized look at given periods of interest. Which "road map" holds an interest for you? Perhaps all, since they are not the same set of details and reveal their messages through different observations.
 

      On the lighter side, one may even find a, Naughty Natal Report a great source to jab a friend, even if we don't know their exact time of birth. On the not so lighter side, we might check out a great new form of natal exploration called, Karmic Insight Birth Reports. A much different way of looking at ourself from a more esoteric point of view. Sometimes we just want a Chart, suitable for framing with no interpretaion - just the many details in chartwheel form with aspect table and other details ready for interpretation!
