A chart, or chartwheel as they are sometimes referred to, is a graphical representation of those salient points in terms of glyphs and numerical symbols that to an astrologer shows the many points of reference and their locations to one another set forth and awaiting interpretation and delineation. It is these interpretations that form the basis of reports. The reports can take many forms, such as a natal profile, transit, progressed, etc. Carried to extremes, a chart can boast data that can form the basis of around 350 insightful revelations. To see a sample chart, click here.

            Some of the many categories of data represented here is where the placements are for the heavenly bodies and special points of reference. This shows us the signs that the planets, etc. are "in" and the house placements where they can be found. It will also show us the angles formed between these bodies and special points (aspects), as well as whether the planets, sun and moon are in direct motion or retrograde. Elements and modes are revealed, along with much more to the trained eye.
            
           They can also show the relationship between different chart positions for us and another, or between our own chart formations ~ such as the relationship between a natal birth chart and a progressed chart for another time period.

            In other words a chart is a "snapshot" in time of our lives or an event or question to be explored by us. We freeze the moment and then unfold its arcane message ~ usually in the form of a report or counceling resulting from this interpretation.

          It describes your basic motivations, perceptions, inclinations, and character from a number of different perspectives giving a highly accurate composite view of your life. Your contradictory urges and drives as well as your chief focuses are described in this report. You will understand yourself better by studying this material.

          Your report provides guidelines for personal improvement and self discovery. Your life may improve quickly and dramatically if you apply the suggestions given here. This Report is divided into 4 chapters:
Chapter 1 compares your temperaments and personalities. The issues described in Chapter 1 become particularly powerful if you are married or live together. Idiosyncrasies or quirks in another person's personality do not bother us as much if our relationship is a casual one. For example, if one person is neat and tidy and the other is sloppy, this is more likely to become a concern if you are married than if you are only seeing each other occasionally.

Pay close attention to the issues described in Chapter 2 because these are the most important themes in your relationship. For example, if themes of romance and sexual attraction are emphasized, then you can count on this relationship being a passionate one. However, if romance and sexuality are hardly mentioned at all, then this relationship will not be a passionate one. Note also that the material in Chapter 2 is presented roughly in order of importance, so that the material presented at the beginning of Chapter 2 is the most powerful.

To make the most of this report, combine this astrological analysis with other things that you know about each other. For example, we have assumed that you are opposite-sexed (assuming that both of you are heterosexual, otherwise same-sexed). Physical attractiveness, age, religion, education, family and cultural background will affect your relationship as well. The material in Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of this report describes the magnetism between you, but does not describe your individual natures. For example, suppose that Chapter 2 makes little mention of romance and sexuality, but the Natal Reports for each of you indicate that each of you has extremely strong romantic and sexual desires. In this case, marriage is not likely to be successful! However, if romance and sexuality are not important to either of you, then the lack of passion in your relationship is not likely to be as much of a stumbling block.

To make the most of this report, combine this astrological analysis with other things that you know about each other. For example, if your relationship is strictly business-related and close, personal friendship is unimportant to both of you, then it will not concern you if there is little warmth in the relationship. However, a lack if warmth and sympathy, or a tendency to be critical and judgmental of one another, is a more serious problem in a parent-child relationship. You may also want to order a Natal Report for each of you. The Natal Report describes your individual traits. The material in Chapters 2, 3 and 4 of this report describes the dynamics of your relationship, but does not describe your individual natures.

                                                                      

Forecast Report By Transits

A transiting planet, or other heavenly body within the orbit of earth, will come into position many times to form aspects, or angles with us. We usually refer to these transits when they form certain angles between their transiting orbit and our birth chart placements. We can relocate our birth chart information from our birth place to where we are today in order to become more accurate on the timing of these transiting effects as they are formed.

The calculations of these paths are checked for three time periods to our life. We look at the most important of these points, called the "Peak Date", when the influence is at its strongest. Prior to that time we will see a date when the influence of this transit will start to bring its influence to your life, and then after the "peak" another date which shows when its influence will wane from your life.

Think of the transit as a great road map that alerts us to conditions influencing us, and that we can prepare for and adjust for in many cases. They help us understand why certain things have happened in our lives the way they did. We can also look at the prevailing transits for any given location and time frame without regard to an individual influence to a particular person. It is when we apply them to our chart that they become personal. Many persons use this information for their daily guidance in making decisions. Even Presidents, and other leaders do so.

Solar Return Annual Report

The Solar Return is a chart calculated for the time that the Sun arrives at the exact position of the Sun in your natal chart. That happens once every year around your birthday, but at a different time. This chart is calculated for the time of the Sun's return this year and marks the principal events for the year from birthday to birthday. This report also gives the location of your Solar Return; from it can be determined that some places are more favorable than others. With the aid of more than one report you could analyze the changes that are produced in the Solar Return Reports, choosing from different locations where you would want to spend the day.

This report essentially is divided into two parts. The first part analyzes the general external conditions of the year; opportunities and problems that could occur in different areas.For the benefit of students of astrology, the influence of the Ascendant and Midheaven of the return are described as well as that of the Sun and Moon.

The second part analyzes the twelve astrological houses, marking specifically in what area of your life the various astral influences will be manifested, emphasizing your probable responses and inner changes. This section analyzes the position of the solar houses on the natal houses, the planetary conjunctions, and the location of the planets in the houses. You will be given a description of the most important matters derived from the placement of the planets in the houses, which are outlined in the text for each of them.

Lunar Return

The Lunar Return is a monthly chart calculated for the time when the Moon returns to the exact position it was in your natal chart. This happens every twenty-eight days; there are thirteen Lunar Returns in a year. These charts mark the principal events of the month for which the return was produced.

Secondary Progression

Your Personality Profile is revealed by the imprints of the planets in your NATAL Chart. The NATAL REPORT is a projection of "Personality Potential" and can be compared to a "Blueprint" of a building that is being planned for construction. At different stages of development while the building is being built, certain additions, deletions and/or other changes may become desirable (or even necessary) and the original blueprint may be modified to accommodate those changes. And so it is with your personality as indicated by your NATAL Chart. During the "building" of your life, your personality is being developed, and the imprints of the personality blueprint are being modified and/or changed, both by your own choices and by circumstances beyond your control.

The progression of the planets as they continue their respective orbits into different signs and houses, and the aspects they form, are beyond our control. But we DO have some control over how we handle these new influences, and how we let them affect our personality. In order to deal with these influences, it certainly would help for us to know WHAT these influences are, and WHEN we will have to deal with them. The PROGRESSED REPORT provides that information: the WHAT, the WHEN, and (in somereports) the HOW.

Now, for the first time, we have a Progressed Report that not only tells us WHAT, WHEN, and HOW--it also tells us HOW LONG! It locates the signs, the aspects, and the house positions for each of the planets for any given year of your life and tells you how long they will remain in those positions. With each of the interpretations for these progressed planetary positions, we include a brief synopsis of the influences and imprints of its position in your Natal Chart for your comparison.

The Progressed chart is the first chart used in Predictive Astrology, for it provides a good preview and overview of what you can expect in the coming year. We feel that the Progressed chart provides the first step toward using Astrology for a better and more fully informed way of living life -- AS IT UNFOLDS.

When combined with information obtained from a "FORECAST REPORT", OR "TRANSIT REPORT", which interprets the aspects of the transiting planets (where the planets actually WILL be at any given time), we can get an extremely comprehensive body of predictive information for any "progressed year"--and beyond.
